We often think about how to get our lessons off to a good start, and I have my preferences as discussed in this post on micro-writing. However, sometimes the end of the lesson can receive a little less attention.
There are many things that we include as we conclude our lessons such as setting homework, playing games etc. For me, the end of a lesson is a great time for reflection activities. I recently wrote a short post which gives three simple suggestions for reflective practice over on the British Council’s teaching English magazine. You can read that post here.
